Frequently Asked Questions

  • I provide therapy exclusively through secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth sessions. This allows for flexibility, accessibility, and comfort—all from the privacy of your own space.

  • Before each session, you’ll receive a secure video link. You can join from your phone, tablet, or computer—just be sure you're in a private, quiet space where you feel safe and comfortable. Many clients find telehealth to be just as effective and personal as in-person therapy.

  • Our first session is a time to get to know one another. I’ll ask questions to better understand your goals, experiences, and what brought you to therapy. You’ll also have space to ask questions and share anything you’d like me to know. This is a collaborative space—there’s no pressure to share more than you're ready for.

  • The client-therapist relationship is key to the success of therapy. That’s why I offer a free 15-minute consultation to help us get to know each other. If it feels right, we’ll move forward together. If not, I’ll be happy to help you find another provider who might be a better match for your needs.

  • Standard sessions for Individual, couple, and family sessions run 45-60 minutes with the average session at 53 minutes.  . Extended sessions may be available upon request, depending on your needs.

  • Therapy is a personal journey, and the timeline looks different for everyone. Some clients come in with a specific short-term goal, while others benefit from ongoing support over a longer period. We’ll regularly check in about your goals, progress, and whether therapy is continuing to meet your needs.

  • Yes. Your privacy is deeply respected. Everything you share in therapy is confidential, with a few legal exceptions (such as risk of harm to yourself or others, or cases of abuse). I’ll go over this in detail during our first session so you know exactly what to expect.

  • I support adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity, life transitions, eating disorders, grief, substance abuse, relationship challenges and a variety of other uniques needs. My approach is holistic, collaborative, and tailored to your unique story.

  • I use an integrative approach grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and other evidence-based practices.

  • Yes, I accept select insurance plans and provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement. Visit the Insurance & Payment page for more details.

  • Yes. I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots to make therapy more accessible. Reach out to ask about availability.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a fee.

  • Yes! I provide clinical consultation and supervision to therapists working toward licensure. Please contact me for more information.
